Shipping information

Free Shipping on Orders $800+. Shipping is curbside to the contiguous United States, and orders under $800 ship for a flat $29.99. Most orders ship within 1-2 business days and are delivered within 3-5 business days after shipment (estimated 4-7 business days total). You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse. If you don't receive tracking within 3 business days, contact us at support@independentlivingdirect.com.

Lift chairs and UPbeds ship free with threshold delivery (porch or garage). White glove delivery (room of choice, assembly, packaging removed) can be added on their product pages for an additional charge. For other items, ask us about threshold or white glove delivery.

Returns & warranty

You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping and restocking fees (typically ~20%) are the customer's responsibility. Outright returns on shipped orders incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs.

This Gemini is a heavy-duty rear-wheel-drive power chair with a power seat lift. It supports riders up to 350 lbs, which is lower than the 450 lb rating of the Gemini without a lift. Batteries are not included, so read the battery note below.

Gemini with Power Seat Lift sizing and batteries

The lift lowers the weight rating, so confirm capacity first.

350 lb capacity: carries riders up to 350 lbs with the power seat lift
Two seat widths: choose a 20 in or 22 in seat in captain or pan style
Captain or pan seat: the captain seat sits higher: seat-to-floor height is 19 in with the captain seat and 15.75 in with the pan seat, before the 5 in lift
Batteries required: it needs two Group 22NF batteries, sold separately in AGM or gel; see the Group 22NF 55Ah battery listing
Drive and tires: rear-wheel drive with 14 in foam-filled drive tires and a VR2 controller

The chair drives through the rear wheels on 14 in foam-filled drive tires with a VR2 controller.
