The Luggie folds flat and rolls upright like carry-on luggage. The Standard lists a 250 lb capacity, the Classic II, Elite and Golden Elite list 320 lbs, and the Super Plus 3 and 4 list 360 lbs. Most Luggie models list an airline-compliant 10.5Ah lithium battery.
The Zinger lists a 275 lb capacity, 38 lbs without the battery and up to 8 miles of range. The Zoomer lists 300 lbs, 35.7 lbs without the battery and up to 9.3 miles, with a 19 lb heaviest piece when folded apart. Both list a removable FAA-compliant lithium battery.

A folding scooter such as the Luggie or Transport 4AF collapses into one unit. A disassembling scooter such as the Nomad or CityCruzer comes apart into pieces, so no single piece is as heavy as the whole scooter. Weights by piece are on each product page.
Several models list an airline-approved lithium battery, including the Luggie 10.5Ah, the Transport 4AF 10.05Ah and the Journey Zinger and Zoomer. The optional 16.5Ah upgrade on the Luggie Standard is listed as not airline-compliant. Airline rules can change and vary by carrier, so check with your airline before you fly.
Their product pages classify them as personal electric vehicles, not wheelchairs and not medical devices. That is how Journey describes them, so read the product page before you decide.
It depends on the model and battery. The Luggie Elite lists up to 12.5 miles on the 10.5Ah battery and about 19.7 miles with the optional 16.5Ah battery, the Transport 4AF lists up to 8 miles, and the CityCruzer lists up to 8 miles or up to 13 miles with the 20Ah battery. Listed ranges are maximums, so your results will vary.
