The Luggie Elite charges in 90 minutes. If you use your scooter every day and can't afford to wait 5 hours between charges, that difference matters. The 5A fast charger is included standard — not an upgrade.
Beyond the charger, the Elite adds armrests and bumps weight capacity to 320 lbs over the Standard. The optional removable seat (+$80) drops the scooter to 47.2 lbs when you need to lift it into a car trunk or overhead bin — lighter than the Standard with the seat attached. The 10.5Ah lithium battery is airline-compliant, and the familiar flat-fold upright-roll design means it handles airports the same way every other 3-wheel Luggie does.

- Lithium battery: 2-year limited warranty — defects in material and workmanship. Battery performance degradation from heavy use, storage in discharged state, or cold conditions is normal wear and tear and is not covered.

- Plastic parts and chassis hooks: 30 days

Shipping information
Free curbside shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States. Most orders ship within 1-5 business days and are delivered within 5-8 business days after shipment (estimated 6-13 business days total). You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse. If you don't receive tracking within 6 business days, contact us at support@independentlivingdirect.com.
We also offer Threshold Delivery (porch or garage) and White Glove Delivery (room of choice, minor assembly, packaging removal) for an additional charge.
Returns & warranty
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping and restocking fees (typically ~20%) are the customer's responsibility. Outright returns on shipped orders incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs.
