At 46 lbs total with the battery included, it is the lightest full-function scooter in its class. It folds to 25 x 16.5 x 11 inches — carry-on bag dimensions — and the design is patented in the United States.
That means it fits in the overhead bin, the hotel closet, and the compact car without rearranging anything. The airline-approved lithium battery clears security without special paperwork. No other scooter combines this weight and this folded size.

Who This Is For
The Gypsy Q2 is purpose-built for travel — airports, cruises, hotels, and any trip where your scooter needs to fit in the same spaces you do. The 6.3-mile range works well for daily outings and sightseeing, but it is not designed for all-day heavy use. Manufacturer Warranty
- Frame (structural components): 3-year limited warranty from date of purchase
- Parts and electronics: 1-year limited warranty — repair or replacement at EV Rider's option. Labor not included.
- Spare parts: 6-month limited warranty from date of sale
- Battery: Limited warranty subject to wear and tear clause. Defects due to original manufacture are normally apparent within the first 2 months. Gradual deterioration after that period is considered normal wear and tear and is not covered.

Shipping information
Free curbside shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States. Most orders ship within 1-5 business days and are delivered within 5-8 business days after shipment (estimated 6-13 business days total). You will receive tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse. If you don't receive tracking within 6 business days, contact us at support@independentlivingdirect.com.
We also offer Threshold Delivery (porch or garage) and White Glove Delivery (room of choice, minor assembly, packaging removal) for an additional charge.
Returns & warranty
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Return shipping and restocking fees (typically ~20%) are the customer's responsibility. Outright returns on shipped orders incur a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs.
Inspect your item upon delivery. Any damage must be reported with photos within 24 hours to support@independentlivingdirect.com. Not all products are eligible for return — this varies by manufacturer.
